Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proofreading & Copyediting Deliverables
- Ensure high-quality proofreading and editing of complex scientific documents.
- Apply AMA, Vancouver, and other client style guides for consistency.
- Review content for language accuracy, grammar, readability, and scientific validity.
- Adapt writing styles (active/passive voice, marketing vs. scientific tone).
- Assist in training material development and process standardization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet deadlines and escalate issues.
2. Reviewing Junior Associates’ Work
- Provide constructive feedback to junior editors.
- Guide team members on client-specific quality standards.
3. Compliance & Process Adherence
- Follow ISO, CMMI, ISMS, and data privacy policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and copyright compliance.
Desired Profile
- Postgraduate in Life Sciences / English Literature (or related field).
- Strong scientific writing and editing skills.
- Familiarity with medical communication (journals, marketing, regulatory documents).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
