Job Description: Scientific Writer & Quality Medical Reviewer
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct procedural and scientific reviews of promotional, disease education, and training materials for pharmaceutical clients.
- Ensure compliance with MCA guidelines, data accuracy, and proper referencing.
- Validate reference quality and ensure contextual accuracy.
- Cross-check scientific information against cited references to prevent misinformation.
- Ensure content aligns with approved product labeling and avoids off-label claims.
- Maintain consistency in reference citation style and essential details (brand/generic names, AE reporting, API mentions).
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Medical Review Leads, and clients to clarify content.
- Deliver high-quality, error-free content within strict deadlines.
- Stay updated on different therapeutic areas (TAs) and industry trends.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Biosciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine (MBBS/MD/PharmD preferred).
- 0-2 years of experience in medical writing, medical review, literature analysis, or publications support.
- Strong scientific acumen and ability to understand complex therapeutic areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines (MCA, FDA, etc.) is a plus.
