Novartis is seeking a dedicated Analyst for Master Data Management to oversee complex global master data management processes. The role involves ensuring accurate and timely preparation and maintenance of master data in the SAP ERP system, aligning with supply chain operational activities and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management:Â Process master data tickets as per relevant SOPs, business matrix, SLA timelines, and KPIs.
- Data Integrity:Â Ensure the integrity and quality of site master data by maintaining reliable data sources.
- Supply Chain Understanding:Â Basic knowledge of Supply Chain Management, SAP MM, PP, and SD attributes.
- Pharma Industry Knowledge:Â Understanding of Pharma product lifecycle events, regulatory requirements, and artwork in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Data Quality:Â High priority maintenance of data quality and avoidance of duplication.
- Technical Skills:Â Develop capabilities in scripting languages like SQL and ETL processes.
- Compliance:Â Work in a GxP environment and adhere to Novartis compliance policies.
- Team Collaboration:Â Foster a collaborative team environment with mutual respect and a focus on innovation.
- Continuous Improvement:Â Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing operational excellence and productivity.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Master Data Operations in Supply Chain Management.
- Experience with Change Control systems (e.g., SAP) and within the Pharmaceutical Industry is advantageous.
- Strong quality and compliance mindset with the ability to manage high volumes of data.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Technical capacity in data management and master data concept knowledge.
- Ability to work successfully with multinational teams in a complex business environment.
Desirable Requirements
- Graduate or Post Graduate in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Engineering, Commerce, or Economics.
- Experience in a Quality Assurance function.
