Responsibilities in the Job: As a Clinical Systems Analyst at Premier Research, your role will be crucial in supporting clinical trial operations. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing support to users in relation to Clinical Data Management Systems (CDMS) and related applications.
- Resolving CDMS or database-related issues and escalating them to senior analysts or management as needed.
- Taking ownership of issues and ensuring problems are fully resolved.
- Programming reports using SQL and other programming languages.
- Researching, troubleshooting, and resolving programming issues related to clinical trial reporting.
- Serving as a technical resource for data visualization and reporting tools for study teams.
- Routing support requests to other associates according to working guidelines.
- Logging and tracking requests for metrics reporting using tracking tools.
- Assisting junior staff with advanced technical issues.
- Training and following sponsor’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Performing additional duties as assigned, with the possibility of participating in a flexible coverage schedule based on business needs.
Qualifications: To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent from an accredited institution, preferably in a technical field, or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience.
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience using commercial clinical data management systems and/or Electronic Data Capture (EDC) products like Oracle RDC/Inform, Medidata Rave, or DataLabs.
- 1 to 2 years of experience with SQL programming (preferred).
- Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, quality, and timely results.
Skills:
- Technical expertise in relational databases (MS SQL Server, MS Access, or Oracle) and data visualization tools (Spotfire, jReview) is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to manage projects independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
