Responsibilities of a Research & Insights Intern

As a Research & Insights Intern, you’ll gain invaluable hands-on experience by contributing to market research projects that shape business strategies. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Market Research:
    • Conduct primary and secondary market research to gather data on market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
    • Develop market research questionnaires and discussion guides to meet business objectives.
  2. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover patterns, insights, and actionable recommendations.
    • Compile and analyze data from project activities and present inferences through detailed reports.
  3. Support Functions:
    • Assist your manager or mentor in day-to-day research tasks.
    • Participate in desk research, data compilation, and report preparation to contribute to strategic projects.

Qualifications Required

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background:
    • Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or a related field.
    • A combination of Pharma + MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
    • Basic knowledge of consulting methods, tools, and techniques relevant to market research.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Personal Traits:
    • Self-motivated, flexible, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
