Job Summary:

Medidigest is seeking a Medical Scribe who will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters. The role requires accuracy in documenting medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans in real-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document Patient Encounters: Accurately transcribe patient encounters, medical histories, and physical exams as they occur.
• Update Patient Charts: Assist healthcare providers by recording diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and lab results in patient charts.
• Transcribe Information: Capture essential patient information, including medical history, medications, test results, and treatment notes.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all documentation complies with clinical and legal standards.
• Organize Information: Maintain and organize patient data while ensuring confidentiality.
• Clarify Information: Communicate with healthcare providers to confirm or clarify details as needed.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements:
  • B. Pharmacy, M. Pharmacy, B.Sc. Chemistry, or Microbiology.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Exceptional typing skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience:
  • Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a clinical setting is a plus, but not required.
