Job Responsibilities
USP Production (IC / Shift In-Charges / Section Head)
- Operate and manage 55 bioreactors/fermenters with a capacity of 500 L or more.
- Oversee mammalian cell culture processes in upstream production.
- Ensure adherence to cGMP standards and maintain production schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize fermentation processes.
DSP Production
- Handle chromatography systems (minimum 600 L/h capacity) and columns (600 mm or more diameter).
- Operate Automated TFF systems for purification of mammalian culture products.
- Monitor and troubleshoot downstream processing operations.
- Maintain quality control and compliance with regulatory standards.
QMS Production
- Conduct risk assessments and root cause analysis for deviations, OOT, and OOS.
- Manage QMS documentation using tools like Trackwise.
- Review cGMP compliance and equipment qualification protocols.
- Support audits and ensure process improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: M.Sc., B.Tech, B.E., or M.Tech in Biotechnology or related fields.
- Experience: 2-15 years in biotechnology, pharmaceutical production, or bioprocessing.
- USP Production: Minimum 2 years of experience in mammalian cell culture and fermentation (500 L+ bioreactors).
- DSP Production: Minimum 2 years of experience in purification processes, handling chromatography (600 L/h+) and Automated TFF systems.
- QMS Production: Expertise in risk assessment, root cause analysis, and Trackwise for QMS documentation.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and equipment qualification.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
