Available Positions and Roles & Responsibilities
Zydus is hiring for the following roles in its API manufacturing facility:
1. Production – Trainee Officer / Officer / Executive
- Operate and monitor production equipment in the API unit.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety protocols during manufacturing processes.
- Perform batch documentation, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the production area.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
2. Engineering – Shift RO Operator (Process Water / Purified Water System)
- Operate and maintain Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems for process and purified water generation.
- Monitor water quality parameters and perform routine checks.
- Handle troubleshooting of water system issues and ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Maintain logs, perform preventive maintenance, and comply with regulatory standards.
- Work in shifts to support 24/7 plant operations.
3. Quality Control – Analyst
- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using instruments like HPLC, GC, etc.
- Conduct stability studies and documentation as per pharmacopoeia standards.
- Ensure adherence to GLP and quality management systems.
- Investigate deviations and support validation activities.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records for audits.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Production Roles:
- Qualification: B.Sc Chemistry, M.Sc Chemistry, or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience: Freshers (graduation in 2024/2025) or up to 6 years.
Engineering Role:
- Qualification: ITI RFM or any ITI trade, or Part-Time Diploma.
- Experience: 2-10 years (on company payroll).
Quality Control Role:
- Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry.
- Experience: 3-5 years (on company payroll).
Candidates with prior experience in regulated API/pharma plants will be preferred.
