Extractable & Leachable Studies
- Positions: Scientist / Sr. Scientist / Team Leader (TL) / Group Leader (GL)
- Number of Openings: 05
- Experience: 2 to 8 years
- Key Expertise:
- Operation and calibration of GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS instruments
- Method development and validation
- Preparation of reports
- Working in a GMP-compliant laboratory
- For TL/GL roles: Proven ability to monitor day-to-day activities and lead a team of 5–10 members
Genotoxic Impurities
- Positions: Scientist / Sr. Scientist / Team Leader (TL) / Group Leader (GL)
- Number of Openings: 05
- Experience: 2 to 8 years

Roles and Responsibilities
As part of Vimta’s Trace Pharma team, you will:
- Perform high-precision trace analysis using GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS
- Develop, validate, and optimize analytical methods for extractables, leachables, and genotoxic impurities
- Calibrate and maintain sophisticated analytical instruments
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation in line with GMP standards
- Collaborate on method troubleshooting and data interpretation
- For senior/leadership positions: Oversee team operations, assign tasks, ensure timely delivery, and maintain quality standards
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: M.Sc. or equivalent in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related fields (preferred)
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS operation, method development, validation, and calibration
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in pharma analytical testing; up to 8 years for senior roles
- Additional: GMP laboratory exposure is mandatory; leadership experience for TL/GL positions
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving, report writing, and team management (where applicable)

For Scientist/Sr. Scientist positions in analytical roles at Vimta Labs (Hyderabad), salaries typically range from ₹3.8 Lakhs to ₹8 Lakhs per annum, with higher packages for Team Leader/Group Leader positions depending on leadership scope and expertise.
