Job Description: QC Specialist
This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity for experienced QC professionals to contribute to the production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our medications. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in pharmaceutical quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing routine and non-routine analytical testing on pharmaceutical raw materials and finished goods.
- Operating and maintaining sophisticated analytical instruments, including but not limited to HPLC, GC, UV, Dissolution, and IR spectroscopy.
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Data analysis, record keeping, and report generation using LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
- Participating in internal and external audits (e.g., FDA, MHRA).
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: M.Sc. (Chemistry), B.Pharm, or M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis) is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and maintaining HPLC, GC, UV, IR, and Dissolution testing equipment is mandatory. Experience with LIMS and other relevant software is highly preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and experience with audits (FDA, MHRA, etc.) is a significant advantage.
