Roles & Responsibilities
1. BQM (Bioanalytical Quality Management – QC)
- Review chromatograms, calibration curves, QC samples, and reports
- Review BMV, partial validation, and cross-validation reports
- Ensure compliance with GLP, GCP, US FDA, EMA, CDSCO
- Verify ALCOA+ data integrity and raw data traceability
- Review SOPs, protocols, and study plans
2. Custodian (Sample & Material Management)
- Receipt, labeling, logging, storage, and retrieval of biological samples
- Manage reference standards and analytical columns
- Monitor deep freezers, refrigerators, and cold rooms
- Maintain chain-of-custody and inventory records
- Ensure biohazard and chemical waste compliance
3. Instrumentation Engineer
- Assist in calibration and preventive maintenance of lab instruments
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime
- Maintain equipment logs and service documentation
- Coordinate with external service vendors
- Ensure laboratory safety and regulatory compliance
4. Lab Automation / LIMS
- Manage Sample Manager / Watson LIMS systems
- Configure lab execution methods and parameters
- Implement SOP-linked automated workflows
- Support lab digitalization and process simplification
- Prepare documentation for CSV (Computer System Validation)
5. LIMS Operator
- Create projects, studies, master assays in LIMS
- Design study workflows as per protocols
- Generate worklists, run sequences, and reports
- Perform regression, raw data generation, and reassay reports
- Generate barcode labels for clinical studies
6. Document Controller
- Control issuance and reconciliation of SOPs and formats
- Maintain archival of raw data, calibration, and maintenance records
- Manage document revisions and obsolescence
- Coordinate with QAD for document control activities
