Roles & Responsibilities
As a Compression Operator, you will be responsible for managing tablet compression processes efficiently while ensuring product quality and compliance.
- Operate and monitor tablet compression machines
- Set up equipment as per Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR)
- Perform in-process checks such as weight, hardness, thickness, and friability
- Ensure adherence to GMP and SOP guidelines
- Maintain accurate batch records and production documentation
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues during operations
Required Qualifications
Candidates applying for this role should meet the following criteria:
- Diploma / B.Sc. / ITI qualification in relevant field
- 2โ5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with compression machines like Cadmach, Fette, etc.
- Good knowledge of GMP documentation practices
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
