Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Trainee Executive, Direct Procurement to join our team in Ahmedabad. This role involves managing procurement activities for R&D excipients and packaging materials, ensuring timely delivery, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Manage the full indent-to-payment cycle for R&D excipients and packaging materials.
✔ Provide monthly delivery reports to cross-functional teams (CFTs) for R&D materials.
✔ Oversee artwork management for new product launches and coordinate with Supply Chain Execution (SCE) for timely delivery.
✔ Handle procurement of primary & secondary packaging materials for new product launches.
✔ Arrange required RM/PM documents from vendors for regulatory filings and analytical purposes.
✔ Address excise-related queries and manage excise documentation for excipient and packaging purchases.
✔ Create or modify item codes in the system as required.
✔ Coordinate with Amneal’s global legal team for CDA (Confidentiality Agreement) execution.
Qualifications & Skills Required
✅ Education: B Pharm, M Pharm, MSC, Supply Chain Management or related field.
✅ Experience: 0-2 years in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
✅ Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of excise and regulatory documentation.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
