Key Responsibilities โ€“ Toxicology Role

Scientific & Process Responsibilities

  • Search, retrieve, and analyze toxicological data from scientific literature and regulatory databases
  • Perform toxicological safety evaluations for new and existing ingredients and products
  • Prepare ingredient monographs, safety statements, and toxicology summaries
  • Summarize risk assessment data across toxicological endpoints
  • Support responses to regulatory authority and consumer safety queries
  • Ensure accuracy, relevance, and currency of toxicology data
  • Screen and exclude irrelevant or low-quality scientific information
  • Contribute to projects such as:
    • Ingredient profile monographs
    • Toxicological assessment requests
    • Product safety summaries

People & Communication

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work independently and collaboratively in project-based environments
  • Actively participate in team activities and knowledge-sharing initiatives

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Background

  • M.Pharm / MSc / PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Life Sciences, or related discipline

Experience

  • 1โ€“2 years of relevant experience in toxicology, safety assessment, or regulatory research

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of toxicology principles and risk assessment
  • Hands-on experience with databases such as:
    • ECHA
    • EFSA
    • PCPC
    • PubMed
    • Embase
    • ToxPlanet
  • Excellent toxicology report writing and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, basic Excel)
  • Advanced internet and scientific literature search skills
