Job Description – Scientist I, Molecular Biology
Role & Responsibilities
As a Scientist I, Molecular Biology, you will be a key member of the antibody development team, utilizing cutting-edge molecular biology, protein biology, and cell biology techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Design and execute experiments to meet program goals.
✔ Maintain accurate records in lab notebooks and data sheets.
✔ Stay updated with the latest advancements in antibody development.
✔ Analyze and present data in team meetings.
✔ Ensure adherence to timelines and attention to detail.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree with 0-3 years of experience in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry.
- Fresh PhD graduates (submitted within the last year) are also eligible.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Molecular Biology Techniques: PCR, cloning, primer/vector design, DNA/RNA extraction.
- Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS): Library prep, sequencer handling, bioinformatics analysis.
- Programming Knowledge (Preferred): Python, R, or bioinformatics pipelines.
- Antibody Sequencing Experience (Highly Desirable).
- Immunoassays: ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), IHC.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Prism, and statistical tools.
Soft Skills:
- Self-motivated & proactive in learning new concepts.
- Strong communication (written & oral).
- Team player with collaborative abilities.
