About the Antibody Team
The Antibody Team at Thermo Fisher Scientific is dedicated to the engineering and development of high-quality antibodies. The team focuses on antibody designing, purification, conjugation, and testing using advanced tools and technologies. The goal is to develop innovative products and provide detailed product-specific information to support research applications.

Role and Responsibilities
As a Scientist I, Molecular Biology, you will play a key role in the antibody development team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing experiments to achieve program goals.
  • Maintaining accurate records of results in data sheets and laboratory notebooks.
  • Staying updated with the latest developments in antibody development through regular literature reviews.
  • Compiling and presenting data in written and oral formats.
  • Participating actively in team meetings and adhering to project schedules.

Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience:

  • A Master’s degree with 0-3 years of experience or a fresh PhD (submitted within the last year) in life sciences, molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, DNA/RNA extraction, and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) platforms, including library preparation and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
  • Experience with immunoassays such as ELISA, Western Blotting, and Immunocytochemistry.
  • Knowledge of antibody development platforms is desirable.
  • Strong statistical skills and proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
