Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate for the Pharmacist position will be deployed at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. The primary responsibilities include:
- Dispensing medications to patients as per prescriptions.
- Providing accurate drug information to medical staff and patients.
- Maintaining inventory and ensuring proper storage of medications.
- Adhering to safety protocols and legal regulations under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Assisting in routine pharmacy operations and supporting patient care.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- For Diploma Holders:
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- At least two years of experience as a Pharmacist in a recognized hospital or pharmacy post-registration.
- For Bachelor’s Degree Holders:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
- Minimum one year of experience in a recognized hospital or pharmacy post-registration.
Skills and Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and their usage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
- Proficiency in maintaining pharmacy records and inventory.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
Remuneration
The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in the range of ₹24,850 to ₹30,000.
