Symed Labs R&D Center, part of the reputed Viyash Group, is a fast-growing CRAMS and API manufacturing organization based in Hyderabad. We are actively hiring passionate and experienced chemists for the position of Executive / Jr. Executive – Process Development (API) at our state-of-the-art R&D facility in Shapur, Jeedimetla, Hyderabad, Telangana.
This is an excellent opportunity for M.Sc Chemistry professionals with 2–6 years of hands-on experience in API process development and plant-scale validation to join a dynamic team and contribute to innovative and cost-effective API manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize synthetic routes and processes for API manufacturing to improve yield, purity, and cost-effectiveness
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues during plant operations
- Execute lab-scale experiments and support plant validation & commercial batches
- Perform process validation, technology transfer, and documentation as per regulatory standards
- Collaborate with production, QA, and QC teams for smooth scale-up
Qualifications & Requirements
- M.Sc in Chemistry (Organic / General) from a recognized university
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in API R&D / Process Development in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry and process optimization
- Experience in lab-to-plant scale-up and validation batches is mandatory
- Immediate joiners preferred
