Role: Executive/Sr. Executive – R&D Biotechnology (Upstream Process Development)
This role offers a unique chance to contribute to innovative biotechnology projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with a team of experts to optimize upstream processes and ensure the highest standards of research and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Bioreactor Management: Operate and manage 2L and 5L scale bioreactors.
- Media and Feed Screening: Conduct detailed analysis and optimization of media and feed formulations.
- Fermentation Techniques: Work with mammalian and microbial fermentation processes.
- Research & Development: Perform experiments using shake flasks and other laboratory techniques.
- GLP Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices in all experiments.
Qualifications Required
- Educational Background:
- M.Tech/M.Sc in Biotechnology or Biochemistry.
- Experience:
- 2–7 years in upstream process development within R&D or MS&T.
- Technical Expertise:
- Hands-on experience with bioreactors, fermentation processes, and media screening.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of mammalian and microbial fermentation.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting bioreactor systems.
- Deep understanding of GLP requirements and laboratory safety protocols.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
