Are you looking for an exciting career opportunity in non-clinical study monitoring? AstraZeneca is hiring a Study Monitor Support Specialist in Bangalore to support the Regulatory Toxicology and Safety Pharmacology team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth execution of studies that contribute to groundbreaking medical advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in vitro safety pharmacology (hERG) studies and assist Non-Clinical Toxicology Study Monitors.
  • Maintain and update essential study documents.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficient toxicology study management.
  • Manage financial aspects, including Statements of Work (SOW), Invoices, and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Track ongoing study costs and support ad-hoc requests for metrics.
  • Perform QC checks on submission documents.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in a GLP Toxicology lab with knowledge of non-clinical toxicology studies.
  • Preferred experience in in vitro electrophysiology assays (hERG/cardiac ion channels).
  • BSc in Pharmacology/Toxicology (preferred).
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience in process improvement projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
