Key Responsibilities

As a Statistical Programmer II at ICON, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, validating, and maintaining complex SAS/R programs for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborating with biostatisticians and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation of study analyses.
  • Preparing and reviewing Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and programming specifications.
  • Generating derived datasets (SDTM/ADaM) compliant with CDISC and regulatory standards.
  • Ensuring data integrity and compliance with ICH/GCP throughout the programming lifecycle.
  • Mentoring junior programmers and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in statistical programming in the clinical research domain.
  • Strong proficiency in SAS, R, or Python.
  • Experience with SDTM, ADaM, TLF, and clinical data management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in global teams.
