Available Positions and Experience Requirements
Spica Laboratories is inviting applications for the following roles:
- Quality Control (QC) Experience: 2 to 6 years Ideal for professionals skilled in analytical testing, instrumentation, documentation, and GMP compliance in API or pharma environments.
- Production Experience: 0 to 6 years Open to freshers and experienced candidates for roles in API manufacturing operations, process handling, equipment management, and batch production.
- Safety Experience: 3 to 5 years Suited for candidates with expertise in industrial safety protocols, hazard management, EHS compliance, risk assessment, and safety training in manufacturing setups.
These positions are based at the company’s manufacturing site, offering hands-on involvement in API production processes.
Key Responsibilities (General for Roles)
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
- Handle day-to-day operations, quality testing, or safety inspections as per department.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production efficiency and compliance.
- Participate in audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Specific duties will vary by department—QC focuses on analysis and validation, Production on operational execution, and Safety on risk mitigation and emergency preparedness.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Educational background: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, B.Pharm/M.Pharm, Diploma/B.Tech in relevant fields (for Production/Safety), or equivalent.
- Prior experience in API manufacturing, bulk drugs, or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, analytical techniques (for QC), or production processes.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in shifts.
Freshers with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply for entry-level Production roles.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary packages are offered based on experience and role. In the API sector in Telangana, realistic ranges include:
- Entry-level/fresher (0-2 years): ₹3.0 – ₹5.0 Lakhs per annum
