Diversey is seeking an Associate Regulatory Specialist to manage key regulatory activities including Raw Material Data Management, compliance workflows, and change management to ensure regulatory compliance for Diversey products. The role reports directly to the Manager of Regulatory Affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform raw material compliance tasks, including reviewing and evaluating SDS/data information received from suppliers/vendors and managing vendor projects.
- Create and maintain raw materials information in Diversey systems.
- Verify information provided by suppliers/vendors against SAP for raw materials to ensure compliance with Diversey’s internal and country-specific general and application-specific regulations.
- Efficiently address queries from internal and external stakeholders, coordinating with team leads or SMEs as needed for high-priority requests.
- Prioritize and complete requests within defined turnaround times.
- Maintain records as per defined formats.
- Keep up-to-date with the global chemical regulatory environment and applicable legislation and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a corporate regulatory environment, including interaction with competent authorities for product registration, regulatory compliance, or regulatory consulting.
- Strong knowledge of hazard communication as per GHS and country-specific requirements.
- Hands-on experience with label and SDS authoring.
- Demonstrated ability to complete difficult tasks in a timely manner.
- Good communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory terminology and the regulatory landscape is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
