Role Overview
As a Site Selection Specialist, you will support feasibility planning, identify potential investigators and sites, conduct capability assessments, and ensure high-quality data management. Your work will directly impact study start-up timelines and help accelerate clinical research delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Site Selection Lead to align with project objectives across regions
- Identify investigators and clinical trial sites through databases, research, and local networks
- Build relationships with sites, investigators, and therapeutic area networks
- Conduct phone selection visits and assess site capabilities
- Collaborate with Country Managers for local insights: SOC, site profiles, healthcare infrastructure
- Maintain complete and accurate feasibility data in clinical systems
- Ensure compliance with ICON/Sponsor SOPs and the Site Selection RACI
- Follow up with sites to gather missing feasibility information
- Act as country expert for investigator profiles and site intelligence
- Liaise with SSU, CRA Management, and cross-functional teams
- Ensure exclusion of debarred investigators
- Track investigator feedback, selection rationale, and documentation
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices
- Maintain confidentiality and necessary agreements before study discussions
- Contribute to continuous process improvement and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or related field
- 3+ years of clinical research experience preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of feasibility, site selection, and study start-up workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical research systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
