Medpace, a globally reputed Clinical Research Organization (CRO), is hiring a SAS Programmer – Core Laboratory for its growing Data Management team in Navi Mumbai, India. As a SAS Programmer at Medpace, you will work closely with Data Management teams to program, validate, and maintain mapped databases that directly support Phase I–IV clinical trials. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build expertise in SAS programming within a regulated clinical research environment.
Key Responsibilities – SAS Programmer (Core Laboratory)
- Program, validate, and maintain mapped clinical databases
- Develop and maintain SAS programs and edit checks for data quality
- Prepare data transfer specifications and technical documentation
- Coordinate with Data Management teams on database specifications
- Support data transfers for core laboratory and imaging data
- Resolve data issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with clinical data standards and CRO best practices
Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or related science discipline
- Experience or strong working knowledge of SAS programming
- Willingness to complete SAS Certification (mandatory before joining Medpace)
- Understanding of clinical data management concepts is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
