Key Responsibilities
As an Associate Project Specialist – Medical Communications, you will support end-to-end project delivery for global publication and medical education initiatives:
Project Management Support
- Assist scientific writers with end-to-end publication project delivery
- Manage submission workflows, track activities, and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain iEnvision/Datavision, Matrix, PromoMats, and NAYA tools
- Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies across project phases
Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with scientific communication teams and medical content enhancement teams
- Maintain strong relationships with global medical/scientific stakeholders
Quality, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure timely submission of slide decks, manuscripts, posters, abstracts, and medical education materials
- Follow publication compliance guidelines, SOPs, and internal quality processes
- Support purchase order (PO) creation, vendor payments, and budget tracking
Performance & Process Optimization
- Improve productivity through tools, automation, and optimized workflows
- Support operational excellence and continuous quality enhancement
- Contribute to adherence of operational risk controls and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Life Sciences
- Pharmacy
- Biotechnology
- Biomedical Science
- or related scientific disciplines
Required Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in:
- Medical Communications
- Scientific/Medical Writing
- Publication Management
- Pharma/Healthcare domain
Technical & Soft Skills
- Project management & documentation skills
- Strong communication & stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
- Publication submission knowledge preferred
