Key Responsibilities – Scientist Toxicology

The Scientist Toxicology role at Sandoz involves:

  • Planning and overseeing outsourced in vitro and in vivo toxicology studies
  • Preparing toxicological risk assessments for impurities and excipients
  • Conducting ADE/PDE calculations and safety risk evaluations
  • Supporting impurity qualification for drug substances and drug products
  • Performing genotoxicity hazard assessments using in-silico (Q)SAR, in-vitro, and in-vivo data
  • Evaluating residual solvents, elemental impurities, degradation products, extractables & leachables
  • Ensuring compliance with ICH M7 guidelines and GLP/GxP standards
  • Preparing health hazard and environmental risk assessments
  • Collaborating with cross-functional product development teams

Required Qualifications
