Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Transactional & Post Audit at Sami-Sabinsa Group, you will:
- Conduct concurrent and transactional audits, ensuring timely verification of invoices for materials, services, and job work.
- Review Purchase Order (PO) evaluations and verify payments per statutory regulations, company policies, and applicable acts.
- Ensure compliance with GST Act, TDS, and Import & Export regulations during bill verifications and payment approvals.
- Perform factory visits to verify authenticity before clearing payments for civil and maintenance works.
- Assist management in special assignments and process improvements.
- Conduct monthly physical stock verification and half-yearly fixed asset verification with relevant departments.
- Maintain trackers for audit issues, update daily, and share with the Audit Department HOD monthly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit-related issues.
- Identify risks during pre-audit activities and maintain the Risk Control Matrix.
- Conduct post-facto audits as defined by the Audit Department Head.
- Utilize SAP Finance, Inventory, and Material Management Modules for audit tasks.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
- Draft professional audit reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications
To excel in this Assistant Manager audit job, candidates should have:
- Education: B.Com, M.Com, CA (Inter), or CA (Final).
- Experience: 7+ years in transactional audits, post-audit processes, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Finance, Inventory, and Material Management Modules.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with GST Act, TDS, and Import & Export compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
