Key Responsibilities โ Safety & Pharmacovigilance Coordinator
The Safety & Pharmacovigilance Coordinator role involves supporting pharmacovigilance operations and ensuring accurate processing of safety data.
Core Responsibilities
- Monitor and route incoming safety information to appropriate pharmacovigilance teams.
- Record and track ICSR documentation according to sponsor specifications.
- Perform accurate pharmacovigilance data entry in safety databases.
- Redact patient-identifying information in accordance with ICH-GCP and GVP data protection guidelines.
- Assist with case file creation, retention, and documentation management.
- Support literature and clinical trial case processing workflows.
- Coordinate translation of safety documents where required.
- Assist in query follow-ups and safety submission activities.
- Maintain knowledge of SOPs, drug development process, and global PV regulations.
- Support daily workflow reconciliation and documentation activities.
This position is highly suitable for professionals with hands-on experience in pharmacovigilance data entry or ICSR processing.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following qualification requirements:
Educational Qualification
- B.Pharm
- M.Pharm
- PharmD
- BDS
Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance.
- Experience in ICSR case processing or safety data entry is mandatory.
- Experience with literature cases and clinical trial safety cases preferred.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance safety databases
