IQVIA is hiring a Safety Associate Trainee in Kolkata to review, assess, and process safety data from various sources. The role involves distributing reports to internal and external stakeholders while adhering to regulatory guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates in life sciences or healthcare to start their career in pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
Key Responsibilities (Job Description)
As a Safety Associate Trainee, your primary duties will include:
✔ Processing safety data in compliance with regulations, SOPs, and project requirements.
✔ Performing pharmacovigilance activities such as:
- Collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AEs) and endpoint information.
- Determining initial/update status of incoming events.
- Database entry, coding AEs and products, and writing narratives.
- Handling literature-related activities.
✔ Ensuring 100% compliance with company policies and quality standards.
✔ Attending team meetings and providing feedback to managers.
✔ Managing multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills Required
✅ Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related healthcare fields.
- Freshers are welcome! (No prior experience required)
✅ Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
- Time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
✅ Preferred (But Not Mandatory):
- Basic understanding of pharmacovigilance and drug safety regulations.
- Willingness to work in shifts (if required).
