🔬 Key Responsibilities

As a Research Associate II – Nitrosamines (Characterization Team), you will:

• Perform chemical extractions of container closure systems and drug product solutions.
• Develop and validate novel LC-MS and GC-MS methods for complex analytical problems.
• Lead independent studies involving extractables and leachables (E&L), and nitrosamine identification.
• Interpret analytical results and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate across R&D and regulatory teams to ensure GxP and Quality System Regulation (QSR) compliance.
• Provide expert input on analytical chemistry, organic compound structure elucidation, and trace analysis.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

To qualify for this position, you should have:

• M.Sc./M.Pharm with 8–12 years or Ph.D. with 6–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in mass spectrometry (LC-MS, GC-MS) and organic chemistry.
• Experience with Nitrosamine and E&L testing, method development, and validation.
• Knowledge of chromatography, NMR, IR, and cGxP regulations.
• Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
