📌 Job Responsibilities
As a Drug Safety Associate (Pharmacovigilance Officer I), you will:

- Confirm case validity by identifying minimum criteria for case creation.
- Perform duplicate checks and create initial or follow-up cases.
- Process adverse event reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify serious adverse events (SAEs) and special case scenarios (pregnancy, lack of efficacy, product quality complaints, etc.).
- Attach relevant source documents, safety information, and follow-up queries.
- Code adverse events, medical history, and lab data using MedDRA.
- Code suspect, co-suspect, and concomitant products per regulatory standards.
- Draft clear and accurate case narratives.
✅ Qualifications & Skills
Must Have:
- Strong understanding of drug safety case-handling and clinical research processes.
- Excellent cognitive abilities: attention to detail, analytical thinking, and reasoning.
- Knowledge of therapy areas and medical terminology.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Good comprehension and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
- Prior exposure to pharmacovigilance, clinical research, or case processing.
- Familiarity with safety databases and coding conventions.
