As Scientist I, Protein Biology, youโll contribute to the design, development, purification, and testing of high-quality antibodies used in immunoassays. Youโll collaborate with leading experts in protein engineering, biochemical analysis, and antibody characterizationโhelping to shape the future of biomedical research.
๐งช Key Responsibilities
- Execute and plan detailed experiments to achieve antibody development goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation in lab notebooks and digital records.
- Perform protein expression and purification using affinity, ion-exchange, and size-exclusion chromatography.
- Operate automated systems such as AKTA and NGC for purification.
- Characterize antibodies using SDS-PAGE, SEC-HPLC, ELISA, Western blot, and Immunofluorescence.
- Present findings through reports and meetings.
- Stay up-to-date with literature and innovations in protein and antibody engineering.
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety and quality standards.
๐ Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Masterโs degree (0โ4 years experience) or recent Ph.D. (within one year) in Life Sciences, Protein Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields.
Essential Skills:
- Hands-on expertise in protein purification and antibody purification.
- Familiarity with AKTA/NGC systems, Prism, and MS Office.
- Experience in antibody or protein engineering, rational mutant design, and molecular biology.
- Knowledge of Pymol, Schrรถdinger, or Discovery Studio preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
