The selected candidate will work closely with the Neuroscience Research Group, Narayana Institute of Neuroscience (NIN), and NH clinical teams. The position is funded by SKAN Research Trust.
Key Responsibilities
1. Wet Lab & Cell Culture Operations
- Execute and maintain cell culture workflows
- Conduct neuroscience-focused laboratory investigations
- Process and manage biosamples with quality control compliance
2. Patient-Based Research (GCP E6 R3 Compliant)
- Identify, screen, and enroll eligible participants
- Collect demographic/clinical data and biosamples
- Perform data entry, deidentification, and regulatory documentation
3. Research Governance & Documentation
- Conduct feasibility analyses for new studies
- Maintain meticulous records aligned with biosafety standards
- Support study audits, data tracking, and documentation demands
4. Project Management Support
- Schedule experiments and clinical assessments
- Manage lab equipment, consumables, and timelines
- Support grant writing, SOP development, quarterly reports, and manuscripts
5. Computational & Bioinformatic Analysis (Preferred)
- Analyze wet lab and secondary datasets
- Support multi-omics interpretation and visualization
Eligibility
Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Neuroscience, Translational Medicine, Cell/Molecular Biology, or Life Sciences
- Ability to work full-time, on-site at MSMF, Bengaluru
Desirable Skills
- Programming: Python, R, machine learning foundations
- Neuroscience degrees: MSc/MTech/MPhil preferred
- Medical graduates with relevant experience may apply
Experience Advantage
- Hands-on cell culture and patient-research integration
- Wet lab and biosample processing
- Translational research experience (bench-to-bedside)
- Familiarity with multi-omics databases and pipelines
