Precision Medicine Group is hiring a Research Analyst in Pune, Maharashtra for its rapidly expanding oncology consulting and analytics team. Key Responsibilities โ Research Analyst (Oncology)
Data Collection & Evidence Generation
- Conduct primary research including surveys and interviews with US healthcare stakeholders
- Perform secondary research using sources such as FDA, NIH, Elsevier, MMIT, and DRG
- Track oncology market trends, competitors, and product positioning
Data Analysis & Validation
- Collect, organize, and validate large datasets with high accuracy
- Ensure data integrity and resolve inconsistencies
- Generate actionable insights from complex oncology data
Reporting & Client Deliverables
- Collaborate with US-based teams to translate data into insights
- Develop PowerPoint and Excel deliverables for client presentations
- Publish non-peer-reviewed oncology market content
- Support product launch and lifecycle intelligence projects
Eligibility & Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree with 2โ3 years OR Masterโs degree with 1โ2 years experience
(Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Life Sciences) - 1โ3 years of experience in oncology consulting or analytics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to convert data into value-driven insights
Preferred Skills
- Experience interpreting US oncology agency data (FDA, NCCN, etc.)
- Exposure to primary pharma research
- Knowledge of managed markets, payer ecosystems, and market access
- Understanding of oncology treatment pathways and drug lifecycle
- Familiarity with pharma product launch strategies
