Roles and Responsibilities
As a Trainee in the R&D department, you will be responsible for supporting laboratory and project activities. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in executing chemical reactions in the laboratory
- Maintaining proper lab records and documentation
- Supporting scale-up activities in plant operations
- Interpreting analytical results with guidance from seniors
- Handling and maintaining laboratory equipment
- Ensuring calibration of lab instruments
- Following cGMP and GLP guidelines strictly
- Contributing ideas for process improvement and innovation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Preparing weekly updates and final project reports
- Maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- M.Sc in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry
- 0–1 year of experience in synthesis lab (preferred)
- Strong understanding of laboratory practices
- Basic knowledge of analytical techniques
- Good documentation and communication skills
