Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS), a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), is seeking a Trainee – R&D (Chemistry) for its Chennai location. This is an excellent opportunity for chemistry graduates to kickstart their career in pharmaceutical research and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute chemical reactions on a day-to-day basis and support senior researchers and plant operations.
- Handle and maintain lab equipment while ensuring proper calibration.
- Adhere strictly to cGMP norms and company safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of reactions and related processes.
- Contribute intellectually with new ideas for reactions and projects.
- Work collaboratively within a team to ensure timely project execution.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintain compliance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams as required.
- Prepare weekly updates and final reports for project tracking.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- M.Pharm, Master’s Degree in Chemistry (Organic/Pharmaceutical Chemistry preferred).
- Strong academic background with hands-on experience in lab techniques.
- Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and safety protocols.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
