Exciting Openings in Process Technology and Technology Transfer at PI Industries, Udaipur
PI Industries is conducting a Walk-In Drive on 30th November 2025 at its Udaipur facility for the following key positions in the R&D and Manufacturing Technology function:
1. Research Scientist – Process Technology
Educational Qualification Required
- Ph.D. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry (preferred) or
- M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry or
- M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Relevant Experience
- Ph.D. holders: 0–5 years of industrial experience
- M.Sc. / M.Pharma holders: 1–12 years of hands-on experience in chemical process development and process optimization
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Design and development of safe, robust, and scalable chemical processes for new and existing molecules
- Route scouting, process optimization, impurity profiling, and troubleshooting
- Technology package preparation for scale-up and commercial manufacturing
- Hands-on experience with modern analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, NMR, etc.)
- Strong documentation skills as per regulatory and IP requirements
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams including pilot plant, engineering, and manufacturing
Preferred Industry Background Candidates with prior exposure in Agrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Pharmaceuticals API, or Fine & Specialty Chemicals will be given preference.
2. Executive / Senior Executive – Technology Transfer
Educational Qualification Required B.Tech / B.E. in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university
Relevant Experience Minimum 3 years (up to 10+ years for Senior Executive level) in Technology Transfer, Process Engineering, Scale-up, or Plant Support functions
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Preparation and execution of technology transfer documents (process description, flow charts, risk assessment, batch records, etc.)
- Successful scale-up of lab/pilot processes to commercial manufacturing scale
- Hazard evaluation, process safety studies, and implementation of safety measures
- Coordination between R&D, pilot plant, and manufacturing teams during tech transfer
- Troubleshooting during trial and commercial batches
- Knowledge of GMP, EHS standards, and regulatory requirements
Preferred Industry Background Agrochemicals, Fine Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, and Pharmaceutical API manufacturing experience is highly desirable.

How to Prepare for the Interview
