Key Responsibilities – Pharmacovigilance & ICSR Processing
ICSR & Drug Safety Operations
- Manage Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) from clinical and post-marketing sources
- Perform adverse event (AE) case intake, processing, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with global pharmacovigilance guidelines and GVP standards
- Conduct follow-ups for complete and accurate safety data
Regulatory Compliance & Safety Reporting
- Handle queries from Health Authorities related to safety cases
- Perform literature screening and database monitoring for adverse events
- Maintain compliance with local and international pharmacovigilance regulations
Quality & Risk Management
- Support audit readiness and pharmacovigilance inspections
- Identify and manage Product Quality Complaints (PQC)
- Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
Data Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- Maintain case documentation, reconciliation, and reporting metrics
- Collaborate with:
- Medical Affairs
- Regulatory Affairs
- Clinical Operations
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and vendors
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm)
- Life Sciences
- Medical Sciences
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Pharmacovigilance & GVP (Good Pharmacovigilance Practices)
- ICSR case processing & drug safety workflows
- Hands-on experience with:
- Argus Safety Database (preferred)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in audits and inspections
- Knowledge of therapeutic areas
- Exposure to project management or vendor coordination
