As an Operations Specialist 1, you will review, assess, and process safety data from various sources, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines. You will work under the guidance of senior team members to support pharmacovigilance activities, including adverse event reporting, medical reviews, and database management.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Process safety data in compliance with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and project requirements.
✔ Perform pharmacovigilance activities such as:
- Collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AEs)
- Database entry, coding AEs and products
- Writing narratives and handling literature-related tasks
✔ Ensure high-quality standards and meet productivity & delivery timelines.
✔ Maintain 100% compliance with training and documentation.
✔ Support team mentoring and departmental initiatives.
✔ Liaise with cross-functional teams (clinical, data management, project managers).
✔ Assist in medical reviews of non-serious AEs/ADRs (if required).
Qualifications & Skills Required
✅ Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.
- 1 -3 years of experience (including 1 year in Pharmacovigilance preferred).
✅ Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology & safety databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & web-based applications.
✅ Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently.
✅ Preferred:
- Familiarity with global pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Willingness to work in shifts (if required).
