IQVIA is seeking an Insights Associate to join its Company Intelligence team in Gurugram. The role involves updating databases, analyzing pharmaceutical sales and financial data, tracking clinical trials, and supporting research projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in pharmaceutical analytics, and experience in secondary research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Aggregation & Analysis: Update databases with sales, financials, broker data, and drug attributes.
- Pharma Research: Analyze marketed and late-stage R&D products, including clinical trials, patents, and approvals.
- Database Management: Own and enhance IQVIA’s analytics tools and dashboards.
- Financial & Sales Modeling: Develop and maintain company and drug revenue models.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams to deliver high-quality insights.
- Process Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve existing products and workflows.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Education:
- Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Life Sciences
Experience:
- 2-4 years in pharmaceutical analytics
- Experience in financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) is a plus
- Knowledge of analyst consensus forecasts (equity broker reports) is preferred
Skills:
✔ Strong analytical & secondary research skills
✔ Knowledge of regulatory sources (FDA, EMA, clinical trial databases)
✔ Understanding of pharmaceutical markets, therapy areas, and trends
✔ Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
✔ Experience with IQVIA Health databases (preferred)
✔ Excellent communication & project management skills
