Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Safety Surveillance Associate is responsible for reviewing, preparing, and completing reports of adverse drug experiences to determine the safety profile of Pfizer’s products and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize routine cases for processing, noting reasons for delays.
- Assess case complexities and escalate issues as needed.
- Review and verify event terms, case classifications (validity, seriousness, expectedness), and product complaint information.
- Ensure accuracy in case narratives and regulatory compliance timelines.
- Generate reports and determine necessary follow-ups.
- Collaborate with Pfizer Country Organizations, Clinical Development, and License Partners for data reconciliation.
- Maintain expertise in Pfizer’s product portfolio, global regulations, and safety database operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in a healthcare profession (Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, etc.).
- Experience: 1–3 years in pharmacovigilance or related domains.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and ability to work in a hybrid model.
