Key Responsibilities in the Role
As a Patent Analysis Intern, you will play an integral role in supporting the Research & Development (R&D) team in various patent and intellectual property (IP) tasks. Here’s what your role entails:
- Collaborating with the R&D team on Patent/IP-related projects.
- Conducting in-depth searches for technical and patent information using renowned online databases such as Google Patents, Espacenet, USPTO, Patentscope by WIPO, and Lens.org.
- Delivering detailed, value-added patent search reports.
- Performing prior art searches using free literature databases like NCBI and Google Scholar.
- Evaluating search results, organizing data, and generating reports with summaries and visual charts.
- Updating and maintaining detailed reports with accurate data and proper naming conventions.
- Working across different technologies with a flexible approach.
Required Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or having completed M.Tech, M.Sc, or PhD.
