Looking to build a career in clinical research proposals, CRO contract management, and budget development? Parexel is hiring a Proposals and Contracts Specialist for its India (Hyderabad/Remote) team. This is a high-impact role where youโll work across RFP management, proposal development, and contract negotiation in a global clinical development environment.

Key Responsibilities
Proposal Development
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and assign SMEs accordingly
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs for proposal preparation and budgets
- Develop and revise client-ready proposals aligned with study protocols
- Identify risks in RFP timelines and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure alignment with client specifications and internal assumptions
Contract & Budget Management
- Create and finalize clinical trial budgets and contracts as per SOPs
- Amend project budgets with cross-functional inputs
- Develop contract strategy and execution plans
- Lead client discussions for cost negotiation and contract closure
- Prepare contract documents using Parexel templates
Stakeholder & Process Management
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients
- Maintain documentation and update systems for KPIs
- Participate in client meetings and internal planning discussions
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality client deliverables
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences / Business / Languages
- MBA preferred
Experience
- ~2+ years in proposal development, contracting, finance, or CRO roles
- Experience in clinical trials or global study operations preferred
Core Skills
- Strong understanding of clinical study operations & CRO processes
- Knowledge of pricing models, budgets, and contract terms
- Tools: MS Office, databases, Salesforce (preferred)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple RFPs and tight deadlines
