Job Description: Intern – Pharmaceutical Forecasting
Merck’s Human Health Commercial Division is offering an exciting 6-month internship opportunity for students pursuing Engineering, Management, or Pharma post-graduate courses. This role provides hands-on experience in pharmaceutical forecasting, allowing interns to contribute to real-world projects while gaining industry exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support business decisions.
- Assist in preparing forecasts and analytical solutions for key pharmaceutical assets.
- Work with cross-functional teams to derive strategic insights from market trends.
- Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Currently enrolled in Engineering, Management, or Pharma post-graduate programs.
- Expected to graduate in the next 1-2 years.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) abilities.
- Ability to balance methodological rigor with project deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and basic statistics.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry/life sciences (preferred but not mandatory).
