Key Responsibilities
- Design, standardize, and manage clinical databases supporting RWE and interventional studies.
- Interpret study protocols and translate eligibility criteria into structured data logic.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, variable mappings, and terminology standards (ICD, MedDRA, ATC, LOINC).
- Execute data cleaning, discrepancy review, and query resolution.
- Perform SQL-based data validation across EDC, EHR, and repository systems.
- Collaborate with data engineers and medical teams for accurate ETL workflows.
- Document data transformation logic and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Pharmacy (B.Pharm preferred), Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 2–4 years of experience in clinical data management or EDC setup.
- Knowledge of CDISC, SDTM, CDASH, and coding systems (ICD-10, MedDRA, SNOMED).
- Proficiency in SQL, and familiarity with Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical, or REDCap.
- Experience with Python/R or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.

- Design retrospective and prospective research studies in epidemiology and patient outcomes.

- Present findings in written reports, dashboards, and presentations.

Qualifications and Skills

Job Summary
The Medical Data Abstractor / Clinical Text Annotator supports the extraction, annotation, and validation of clinical data from Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) to build structured datasets for AI/ML model training and RWE generation in neurology.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract and standardize patient data from EHRs, clinical notes, and radiology reports.
- Annotate medical text using NLP schemas (NER, entity linking, relation extraction).
- Identify and tag key neurological concepts (diagnosis, symptoms, medications, progression).
- Abstract data for clinical trial-matching workflows.
- Collaborate on annotation guidelines, QA checks, and AI model validation.
- Ensure data privacy compliance (HIPAA, GDPR) in handling sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher in Health Informatics, Life Sciences, or Medicine.
- Knowledge of neurological and behavioral disorders (e.g., MS, epilepsy, dementia).
