Role Overview: Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate – ADL
The primary role of the Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate in the ADL is to support formulation development by performing detailed analytical testing and maintaining high-quality laboratory standards. Below are the main responsibilities and requirements for this role:
Primary Responsibilities
- Analytical Testing & Problem Solving: Conduct thorough analytical testing, investigations, and solve analytical challenges to support formulation development.
- Data Management: Check and verify routine development analytical data for accuracy and reliability.
- Stability Testing: Plan and organize stability tests and prepare trend cards for data evaluation.
- Stock Control: Maintain inventory for chemicals, glassware, HPLC columns, standards, and other consumables.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve complex analytical problems on a daily basis.
- SOP Management: Write and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the analytical laboratory.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs for the consumption of impurity standards and chemicals.
- Inspections: Participate in both internal and external inspections to ensure compliance.
- Compliance: Strict adherence to GMP and GLP regulations, and support overall laboratory operations.
- Team Collaboration: Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal and external departments.
- Equipment Calibration: Perform timely calibration of equipment and review calibration data for compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: M.Sc or M.Pharm degree is required.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in an analytical laboratory. Fresh M.Pharm graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills, knowledge of laboratory SOPs, experience in calibration, and an understanding of GMP/GLP standards.
