The company is seeking a skilled Production Officer to join its manufacturing facility in Gujarat. This role is ideal for professionals with 1 to 4 years of experience in pharma production, particularly in solid oral dosage forms.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Production Officer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the production department. Your primary duties include:
- Overseeing granulation, compression, and coating operations to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Ensuring strict adherence to Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at every stage.
- Maintaining accurate online documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and in-process check (IPC) records.
- Monitoring production activities to meet quality standards, yield targets, and timelines while complying with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams like Quality Assurance and Engineering to resolve any process deviations promptly.
- Participating in equipment cleaning, line clearance, and batch readiness activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc/M.Sc or B.Pharm/M.Pharm in relevant discipline.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, preferably in OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing.
- Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of granulation, compression, and tablet coating processes.
- Proficiency in following BMR, SOPs, and maintaining detailed production documentation.
- Familiarity with in-process checks (IPC) and online batch recording.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality and safety.
Candidates with experience in regulated pharma environments will be preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, typically in the range of ₹3.0 Lakhs to ₹5.5 Lakhs per annum for this experience level in the Gujarat pharma sector (realistic industry benchmark for Production Officer roles).
