Key Responsibilities – Quality Assurance Manager
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, SOPs, and documentation standards across all manufacturing units
- Lead day-to-day QA operations, shopfloor quality monitoring, and timely product release
- Manage internal, customer, and regulatory audits, CAPA implementation, and customer complaint resolution
- Maintain and improve Quality Management System (QMS) documentation
- Track and improve quality KPIs such as Right First Time (RFT) and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
- Mentor, train, and develop the QA team for sustained performance
- Oversee supplier quality assurance and maintain organic certification compliance
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Master’s degree in Chemistry / Pharmacy / Biotechnology (regular full-time)
- 6–10 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC within herbal, nutraceutical, or food industry
- Proven expertise in GMP, QMS, root cause analysis (RCA), and audit facing
- Prior experience in raw material/packaging material testing and finished product release
- Strong leadership and team management skills
