Job Responsibilities
1. R&D – Downstream & Upstream (Microbial or Mammalian)
- Perform large-scale cultivation and process optimization for microbial or mammalian cell lines.
- Support pilot-scale production activities to transition products from R&D to manufacturing.
- Ensure strict adherence to process protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
2. R&D – HPLC / Analytical
- Conduct advanced analytical testing and validation using HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) to ensure product quality.
- Develop and optimize analytical methods to support drug substance development.
- Prepare detailed analytical reports and present findings to the R&D management team.
- Maintain equipment and document compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
Qualification Requirements
- Educational Background: A degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field is essential.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 to 7 years of hands-on experience in R&D (upstream or downstream processing, or HPLC/analytical testing) is required.
Essential Skills
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of bioprocessing, pilot plant operations, and analytical instrumentation like HPLC.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Effective troubleshooting skills to identify and solve issues in real-time.
